MMS Kids Recording Session
May 31st - June 1st, 2025
MMS students* will have the opportunity to record an original or cover song at the legendary Tiny Telephone Studio in Oakland, CA.
*For Children ages 10 and up (45 & 60 min lessons only)
Your session will be engineered by the incredible Beau Sorenson (Death Cab for Cutie, Bob Mould) and produced by MMS founder and singer/songwriter Ciara McAllister.
The session will include:
App. 1 hr session in the live room at Tiny Telephone with Ciara & Beau
Access to a beautiful Grand Piano, professional quality studio microphones, house guitars and keyboards/synths at Tiny Telephone
Professional quality (mixed, lightly mastered) audio recording of 1 song of your choosing (with your teacher's help)
Professional quality music video including 3 camera angles, professional quality lighting and art direction
Studio tips and techniques shared with you by Ciara & Beau
Performances will be broadcast in a very special MMS Young Artists Feature - premiering Fall 2025
